There are few people who remain a part of your story for more than a chapter or two. Brian has been a part of my story, our family story, for nearly 20 years. He has played the role of mentor, neighbor, teammate, confidant, supporter and most of all friend. Brian embodied positivity. He had a natural ability to be present in the moment, appreciate people for who they are, and make everyone in his company smile. His connection to the beauty and peace in nature could be felt by everyone around him. To say that Brian’s presence in our lives will be missed is a huge understatement. We are grateful for the memories we have, and will do our best to honor his passion for food, family and the beauty in nature all around us.
