It’s taken a while to figure out what to say. It was all so sudden. I was waving at you from the deck one day and you were gone the next. I was telling you how excited I was that I could finally spot ramps growing in the wild and you were like you can just see the color from far away. Before we actually all met just after we moved in next door, Jake and I both saw you mowing your lawn. We instantly agreed that you looked like Dave Grohl and got a few good laughs in before we actually all got to meet. After that we all shared dinners together (hands down the life aquatic dinner was my fave even though I was nervous cooking for a chef), holidays, laughs and birthdays. I wish there had been more. Brian made an impact on my kid’s lives, my life and was an amazing person. There are so many times I (probably) annoyed Brian talking about food after he came home from work and just wanted to chill and talk about music with Jake. But c’est la vie. You will always be remembered by the people who knew you. You made an impact on so many lives and I wish you had more time on this earth to teach us. Rest in peace Brian.
